Did somebody say hot pink?
Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling are gettin' ready for a hoedown showdown, or maybe a rodeo ride? Either way, they're looking so camp we can't contain ourselves.
Fresh 'Barbie' pictures have been leaked from the set of Greta Gerwig's adaptation, giving us new hope that this is going to be the movie of summer 2023.
The romantic comedy will see Margot Robbie play one version of the most famous doll in the world, while Ryan Gosling joins the production as her on-again/off-again boyfriend Ken. Not much is known about the storyline of the first-ever live-action film based on the Mattel toy, but Robbie previously teased to The Hollywood Reporter: "Whatever you’re thinking, we’re going to give you something totally different — the thing you didn’t know you wanted."
Following the release of the first-look at Gosling as the blond-haired and blue-eyed Ken doll last week, some leaked 'Barbie' pictures have been uploaded onto Twitter from the LA set this week. The film began shooting earlier this year at Warner Bros. Studios set outside of London.
Here's cowgirl Barbie.

And some more pictures leaked from the film's set, including Margot Robbie chatting with director Greta Gerwig (also wearing a pink number).
In case you thought just having Robbie and Gosling as part of the cast for 'Barbie' was enough, think again. Rounding out the cast list are Will Ferrell as the villain; 'Shang-Chi' star Simu Liu and 'Sex Education' star Ncuti Gatwa as other versions of Ken; Kate McKinnon from 'SNL'; 'Ugly Betty' star America Ferrera; 'The Crown' actor Emerald Fennell; Michael Cera from 'Superbad'; Alexandra Shipp from 'X-Men Apocalypse'; 'Matilda' star Rhea Perlman; as well as Hari Nef from 'You', Emma Mackey from 'Sex Education' and Issa Rae from 'Roar' playing different versions of Barbie.
Oof. Talk about a star-studded cast. Are you as excited as we are about the flick? This will be us come July 21, 2023 as we head to the cinema to see if 'Barbie' lives up to our expectations.
