Peter Parker hasn't even swung back into cinemas yet but his next big outing has already been scheduled and now Sony Pictures is even working on spinoffs for the rebooted Spider-Man franchise. Well, nobody could accuse them of taking it easy now, could they?
The focus is shifting to Peter Parker's foes as Venom and The Sinister Six are being lined up for the big screen treatment. They'll be in fairly decent hands too with writers Alex Kurtzman, Roberto Orci, Jeff Pinkner, Ed Solomon and Drew Goddard adapting their tales for the big screen.
Kurtzman, Orci and Pinkner are already fairly invested in the Amazing Spider-Man franchise as is: Sure aren't they already writing the screenplay for The Amazing Spider-Man 3, which Sony hopes Marc Webb will direct.
Kurtzman, Orci and Solomon are then tipped to put pen to paper for Venom with Kurtzman in line to direct, before Goddard gives the Sinister Six new life on the cinema screen, and hopefully helms their big screen debut.
With The Amazing Spider-Man 2 due next year and 3 expected to drop in 2016, our spidey senses will be tingling for a long time to come yet so.
