British actress Alice Eve (the perfect 10 in She’s Out of My League) has reportedly bagged the role of Emma Frost in X-Men: First Class, according to Heat Vision Blog, by way of Darkhorizons.com.
Kick Ass helmer Matthew Vaughn is directing and co-writing the film with Jane Goldman, and has just cast Irish actor Michael Fassbender in the role of a young Magneto, and Scottish actor James McAvoy as Professor X. The film will obviously be a prequel, but funding studio Fox are hoping that it will be a reboot of the once mighty franchise, after the shite Wolverine.
Fassbender apparently had the option of a role in this, or as the bad guy in the new Spiderman movie - tough choice given the talent involved with both productions. The, extremely talented, Vaughn is set to roll cameras in the next couple of months for a release next summer.
