Right so we still don't know who's going to be handed the role of the hot yet creepy and somewhat sociopathic Christian Grey in the forthcoming movie adaptation of Fifty Shades of Grey. It definitely won't be Ryan Gosling so let's just nip that in the bud. Sure he's as hot as they come but when you look at the callibre of his work of late, this sexfest story - devoid entirely of what you'd call a 'plot' - just wouldn't satisfy him.
The person who most people are betting on, however, is True Blood's dangerously attractive vampire Alexander Skarsgard. He plays the role of Eric Northman in the HBO drama. Having just recently starred in a Calvin Klein TV ad (watch it below!) that seems to have been influenced heavily by EL James's filthy smut-book - it's grey in colour, full of seductive looks, features an elevator scene and a token female who seems positively petrified by Skarsgard's arrival - it's hard now to imagine anybody more suited to the role. He's got the scary thing down pat, his face is quite emotionless, his presence on screen is overwhelming *dabsforehead* and let's face it, he's a bit of a ride.
Like us, The Hollywood Reporter are too speculating as to whether or not this will give the movie's movers and shakers a nudge in the direction of Skarsgard.
If the casting directors still aren't satisfied, we'd also like to recommend giving Revenge's Joshua Bowman a go. Just wow.
