JJ Abrams is at it again. The man behind the Star Trek reboot, Lost and Cloverfield is reportedly at work on a top secret follow-up to the latter, called Super 8. And according to Drew McWeeney at Hitfix.com, a teaser trailer for that film will be attached to prints of Iron Man 2, which is opening in America this weekend.

Cloverfield built a huge amount of buzz thanks mainly to an enigmatic viral campaign that the online masses ate up. Abrams and co. dropped clues all over the web about the film, giving the audience numerous hints before unleashing a trailer that caused even more fanfare. The film then opened to huge numbers, and a sequel has been heavily mooted since. Abrams and director Matt Reeves pointed out that the guys in the first film meet someone on Brooklyn Bridge also filming what was going on - could that be the starting point for this film?

I really liked Cloverfield; it was very smart, and one of the few occasions where the hype didn't engulf the film to the point of suffocation. Looking forward to seeing what direction this, apparent, sequel goes in.
