Romero Games is working on an all new FPS with an original, new IP. John Romero is one of the most iconic figures in gaming thanks to his work on games like Doom, Quake, and Wolfenstein, helping pioneer the FPS genre.
Riot Games are opening up a Remote Broadcast Centre for esports in Swords in Dublin. It’ll be able to produce six esports events at once across the world, with the ability to transmit data from Dublin to esports competitions in Shanghai in one-third of a second. The President of Esports at Riot Games, John Needham, has been using his influence to try to bring esports to the Olympics, and with its inclusion in the Asian Games next year, it may not be long before it happens.
Discord voice chat is coming to Xbox consoles in the next couple of week. Xbox Insiders are currently testing the feature, so you’ll soon be able to party up on Discord all from the console.
