Hitman has always been one of those franchises that, outside of its devoted following, hasn't really had much of a crossover appeal.
It might just be that there's something too cerebral about it, maybe the learning curve is too step - whatever it is, this trailer tells us that we've been missing out. An interesting concept for the rebooted Hitman series sees players working their way through one entire map every few weeks, working itself out like a season.
The first few episodes take place in Paris, Marrakech and Sapienza with later episodes taking place in Japan, Thailand and the US. The story, as well, develops over the coming months with each episode, meaning that you'll be coming back to finish off the story. As we said, it's an interesting concept.
The trailer, however, is more than interesting - it's downright f***ing intense. That song, by the way, is from the hugely underrated band Health and the song is Men Today.
The season kicks on March 11th with new episodes coming throughout the year. Hitman will be released on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC.
