Yesterday, Ubisoft broke the news that they were going to have to push back the release date of one of the most anticipated titles of the year.
However, it's not as dramatic as it first sounds, as there is going to be a delay of just a few weeks as they push it back to November 13th in Europe. The two extra weeks will help ensure that the quality of the game meet the lofty expectations that have been attached to this title thanks to the amazing trailers we've seen to date.
“As we got close to the finish, we realized we were near the target but still needed a bit more time to hone some of the details to make sure Assassin’s Creed Unity is exceptional,” says Vincent Pontbriand, senior producer at Ubisoft. “We sincerely appreciate players’ commitment to the game and their patience. It’s just a couple more weeks. And it’s going to be worth it.”
The release date for Assassin’s Creed Rogue will now be November 13th, alongside Assassin’s Creed Unity.
