I really had no desire to try a touch screen dart game finding it conceptually a bad idea and, unfortunately, there was little offered here to change my opinion. Out of all of the online releases for the Vita, Top Darts most closely resembles an ipod game and this creates a serious problem for while not that expensive in its own right (particularly considering the impressive number of game mode options), it is hard not to feel ripped off when you can probably get a comparable game for less than a euro for your phone.

I found it incredibly difficult to maintain any interest playing this game and, in all honestly, gave up before going through every gameplay mode as I had reached my limit of dross gameplay within my opening match and going through the extra options just reminded me how much I disliked the core gameplay. To play, you use the touchscreen to aim your dart and then carefully stretch your dart icon back and push forward to throw. That’s pretty much it. While this sounds rather easy, in fact, to get a perfect 180 is fairly difficult but it never really felt like it was down to my skills were the determining factor rather than the Vita arbitrarily deciding where the dart should land.

I found very little here that I could recommend. I suspect if you are a far bigger darts fan then I am (which is quite possibly the case) than more enjoyment can probably be found here but I suspect that few would disagree that this is over priced for what you get.
