Two multiplayer hits arrive on PS Plus later this week.
This month's PS Plus have been announced as 'Street Fighter V' and 'PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds'.
Released in 2016 and 2018 on the PS4 respectively, 'Street Fighter V' and 'PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds' - 'PUBG' for short - are two games with huge esports and multiplayer followings. In fact, 'PUBG' was the top-selling premium game of 2018 with an amassed revenue of around $1.08 billion.
Developed by Donegal native Brendan 'PlayerUnknown' Greene, the game is now available for free if you're a PS Plus member from Tuesday onwards. 'Street Fighter V', meanwhile, is the latest iteration of the long-running beat-em-'up franchise, which began all the way back in 1987.
As well as being part of one of the highest-grossing gaming franchises of all time, 'Street Fighter V' also boasts the title of the third-highest selling entry on consoles for the franchise. While the game was initially criticised for coming to consoles with a lack of features, subsequent free updates have vastly expanded the game beyond its original version.
Last month's PS Plus games, 'Fall Guys', went on to become a huge hit for the indie developer Mediatonic and sparked huge interest in the game.
