Players can revisit Liberty City, Vice City and San Andreas on November 11th
Rockstar Games have announced that 'Grand Theft Auto 3', 'Grand Theft Auto: Vice City' and 'Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas' will be re-released for the current generation of game consoles with improved graphics this November.
Available on November 11th on digital storefronts and December 6th in physical form, the games will allow players to revisit Liberty City, Vice City and San Andreas with new lighting and environmental upgrades, high-resolution textures, increased draw distances, and Grand Theft Auto V-style controls and targeting.
Rockstar Games have also published a minimum and recommended specs list for players who wish to play the game on PC.
The game contains the 2001, 2002 and 2004 generation-defining games in one package for the first time, and will surely tide 'Grand Theft Auto' fans over until 'Grand Theft Auto 6' or offer a hit of nostalgia to those who played the games on the Playstation 2 and original Xbox.
'Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas' was the biggest-selling game for the Playstation 2, with sales estimated to be around the 20 million mark, while 'Grand Theft Auto 3' is celebrating it's 20th birthday this month.
The remastered 'Grand Theft Auto' trilogy will be available for PC and Playstation 5 as a digital download on November 11th, while physical copies will be available for Playstation 4 and Xbox One/Series X consoles on December 6th and is currently available for pre-order from Rockstar's website.
No date has been given for a Nintendo Switch release, but the game is confirmed to be available for the platform; we will keep you posted when Rockstar Games announces a date.
