They're cute and green, and they've been throwing themselves off digital cliffs for, oh, now about 25 years. You must have come across some incarnation of a Lemmings game at some point in your life. A massively popular PC game, it was simple on graphics but high on addictive fun, (it had the same thing Tetris had), making it the game of choice for sneaky office workers.

The premise of the game is simple. Your Lemmings are on a perilous journey and, unless guided by your hand, they will walk blindly into all manner of dangers including fire, saw blades and, of course, cliff edges.

This latest update of lemmings has turned up the heat on the graphics engine, and the tool system has been improved to streamline your choices. This is a solid puzzle game and, as there are endless solutions to the scenarios, you can replay the levels over and over to get the best possible result.

Soft, cuddly fun, with a nice soundtrack to boot.
