The genius of the Nintendo DS is in its simplicity. Instead of creating an entirely new console, they have just steadily improved the Gameboy over the last 20 years until the DS was born. It is still cartridge-based, it is still similar in shape and control, (yes, they have added the touch screen), but if you think back to the device on which Donkey Kong first appeared, it was not altogether dissimilar to today's handheld.

42 All-Time Classics personifies the saying 'if it ain't broke don't fix it'. From Texas Hold 'Em to Gin Rummy and everything in between, board games include chess, backgammon and checkers - then there is bowling, pool and darts, they just keep on coming.

Graphics are.. well, they're fine. I mean you are looking at a deck of cards, not the Mona Lisa - but they work, and keep you playing. If you are not familiar with a game, each one comes with its own easy-to-follow rules.

If you are looking for a game containing 42 classics, you won't be disappointed; if you are looking for a game with 43, well I am afraid you will just have to wait!
