Make sure to tell all your family in New York to get down to Webster Hall on the 22nd February 2014 for the Barretstown Inspirations New York gig. Tommy Tiernan, The Stunning, Mundy and Paddy Casey are some of the great Irish acts getting together for the charity fundraiser next month.
The benefit night kicks off at 7pm in Webster Hall (125 East 11th Street) on 22nd February. Barretstown, based in Kildare, is a non profit camp that that provides Therapeutic Recreation programs for children with serious illnesses. Set up in 1994 by the late actor Paul Newman, Barretstown is a place where children with serious illnesses and their families come free of charge. Everything, including accommodation, food, medical assistance and round-trip airfares are provided at no cost to the family.
