One of the best films of all time comes back to Ireland in stage form. The Shawshank Redemption had a great run last year both here and in London's West End and Lane Productions are delighted to be bringing the show back to Cork, Dublin and Derry. Written by Owen O’Neill and Dave Johns it stars Kevin Anderson as Andy Dufresne. The Shawshank Redemption tells a story of courage, friendship and hope between to men who meet in prison. The production is directed by Peter Sheridan and produced by Breda Cashe, Donal Shiels and Pat Moylan and it's not the first time Kevin Anderson has starred as Mr Dufresne. Anderson had his debut on the Dublin stags when he starred as Dufresne in last years production. You can catch The Shawshank Redemption in The Cork Opera House from 23rd- 29th April, followed by The Gaiety Theatre Dublin from 4-29th May and the 2010 tour will finish up in the Millennium Forum in Derry from 1-6th June.
