One of the country's leading theatre companies will perform a free public play reading in Castletown House in Celbridge at 3pm on Saturday August 16th. The reading of The Performance Corporation's new comedy "The Nose" will give Kildare audiences a sneak preview of this surreal satire before its première in Project Arts Centre in Dublin next November. This is a rare chance to catch one of Ireland's most consistently innovative and entertaining companies. The Nose is the story of a self-obsessed playboy who gets trapped in a surreal face-off with his own nose. To makes things even worse the nose in question is gallivanting round town, proving a real hit with the ladies! This is a riotous new version of Gogol's surreal satire adapted by Maynooth writer Tom Swift. The reading is the culmination of a week of workshops at Castletown, led by local director Jo Mangan and involving some of Ireland's best acting talent.
'The Book of Mormon' is returning to Dublin next year
