The Irish Musical Comedy Awards taking place this Wednesday April 25th has announced, due to unforeseen circumstance, a change of venue from The Laughter Lounge to 4 Dame Lane, Dublin. Doors open at 7.30pm
Inspired by the hugely successful UK version that has provided a launch pad for superstar acts such as Frisky and Mannish, Jay Foreman and Ireland's own Abandoman, the Irish Musical Comedy Awards (IMCAs) are searching for Ireland's newest musical comedy superstar.
Entrants have been asked to post their musical comedy videos to the IMCAs Facebook page (www.facebook.com/IrishMCAs) before April 1st, and the best of the best will perform at the live final on April 25th before a panel of industry judges at Dublin's Laughter Lounge.
First prize includes €500 cash and a chance to perform at the Musical Comedy Awards London in 2013, and host for the evening will be the inimitable Fred Cooke.
