Hallowe'en Costume Making: Make your own eco Hallowe’en costumes out of all kinds of everyday recycled materials. We will help children to choose what type of character they want to dress up as for Halloween. Whether it is a really scary monster, a pretty fairy princess or a wonderous wizard! We will use all kinds of recycled household materials and lots of paint, sticky tape and imagination! Wear old clothes that won't mind getting painty!
A spooky Hallowe’en and Harvest festival in the beautiful grounds of Shankill Castle, Paulstown, County Kilkenny. The Castle dates from Norman times and features stunning landscaped grounds and extensive woodlands. Distinctive features include a magical moated garden, a fully-restored ornamental canal, spectacular specimen trees and a working Victorian walled garden. Most spooky of all, are the ruins of an early Christian Church and graveyard which gave the castle its name.
If you like you can bring your own recycled cardboard or plastics to help build your costume, but if not we will have plenty to make something really special.
For children staying for more than one workshop take a packed lunch or snack.
