Dark nights at the National Leprechaun Museum filled with haunting stories from Ireland’s ancient festival of Samhain. Suitable for an adult only audience!
In ancient Ireland, Halloween (originally Samhain) is the beginning of the new year, when the veil between our world and the otherworld of the sí (Irish fairies/spirits) is at its thinnest. A time of reckoning when debts are settled and spirits move among us.
This Halloween/Samhain, the National Leprechaun Museum is where you will find these restless spirits.
Take a journey, if you dare, to the dark otherworld of Ireland… through time and space, light and dark, superstition and frightening reality. Through the stories that inspired a world-wide obsession with Halloween frights. Through an old city morgue, beside a disturbed cemetery.
“There are certain themes… which are too entirely horrible for the purposes of legitimate fiction.” – E.A. Poe
Performances on 30 and 31 October include post-show sessions with paranormal experts, and nerve-settling refreshments will be provided on all 10 dates.
This spooktacular Halloween/Samhain production is a collaboration between the talented staff at the National Leprechaun Museum and Alive-O Productions.
