Roundwood is inviting anyone who ever lived, worked or played in Roundwood to come back throughout 2013 to meet local people, sample traditional Irish food, drink, pastimes and to join the community in some genuine Irish craic' at any of these three great events

1.The Wicklow Co Fleadh hosted by Roundwood Branch of Comhaltas Ceoltoirí Eireann on the 27th of April. Come and savour the best of Irish traditional music in Ireland's Highest Village and one of the most scenic locations in the Wicklow Mountains.
2.Roundwood Festival Weekend 20th - 21st July. A celebration of community life highlighting the cultural and natural heritage of our beautiful village and its hinterland. The weekend aims to entertain the family without costing the earth.
3. Roundwood Christmas Carolling Quest 1st/2nd December. We will be welcoming choirs and choral societies from all over the world to partake in a Guinness Book of Record Attempt.We especially welcome residents from our twin town, Spezet in Brittany France to all these events in an effort to reinvigorate and strengthen the connections between our two communities. A big Céad Mile Fáilte to musicians, dancers, mountaineers, water sports enthusiastic and anyone who would like to come back to their roots.
