Since its establishment in the summer of 2003, Limerick-based independent label Out On A Limb Records had put nine albums and a number of singles by time they celebrated their fifth birthday last year. Then, things went quiet in 2009; no releases were scheduled, and the label decided to take stock of the past five years. Now, Out On A Limb is ready to come out of hiding, with renewed vigour and considerable plans for the development of the label in 2010, with new releases and projects being pencilled in for what will be a very exciting year for OOAL and its artists. Nonetheless, the label has decided not to completely write-off 2009, and plan to squeeze one more party in, bringing in OOAL artists Rest, Windings and Hooray For Humans to play the Twisted Pepper on Saturday, December 12th. Doors open for the show at 8pm, and tickets are €10. Crayonsmith & Windings DJ sets will follow the bands. The first twenty people to pay in will receive an individualised 5-track CDr, with unique artwork from a member of an OOAL act/label. Everybody else will receive a download code to get the mini-compilation of rarities available only on the night!
