Norman Noczinski, better known as Norman Nodge is a resident at Germany's infamous Berghain/Panoramabar club where he shares Saturday nights & Sunday mornings with Ben Klock, Len Faki, Shed, Marcel Dettman, Nick Hoppner et al. Often referred to as a 'mentor' by his fellow Berghain resident DJs, Nodge has been DJing and throwing parties since the mid 90's. It was at one of these parties that he gave Marcel Dettman his first performance, experimenting with Ableton and Reason loops... After many years DJing and promoting parties in the city of Berlin it was soon time for Nodge to begin releasing music... in a short space of time he has 'Nodged' up a number releases on fellow Berghain resident, the aforementioned Marcel Dettman's label - MDR and Berghains inhouse techno label - Ostgut Tontrager. To date his greatest production success has been his track - Native Rhythm Electric, which went on to be a a big club hit for both Nodge and Ostgut Tonträger appearing on 12" and on Marcel Dettmans mix compilation - Berghain 02, a mix CD showcasing the sound of Berghain. His production style mirrors that of his DJ sets - melodic, minimal, industrial techno. One Track Presents & Subject present Norman Nodge in The Underground at Kennedy's on May 30th. Admission is €12.
