Appilications are Flying in for auditions for the new BA in Acting.

Hollywood star Pierce Brosnan has welcomed The Lir, the new Academy of Dramatic Art at Trinity College, that will train the Irish stars of the future. “What a grand idea” said Brosnan, “and one long overdue for the landscape of our country and her talent.”

The Lir has announced that the application process for the Bachelor in Acting is now open, and prospective students can log on to their website www.thelir.ie for more information and the application form.

The Lir will he housed in a purpose built facility in the Trinity Technology and Enterprise Campus at Grand Canal Dock, close to the exciting new cultural quarter of Dublin and will train young actors, designers, directors, playwrights, stage managers and theatre technicians to the highest international standards for careers in theatre, film, TV and radio.
