A world renowned historian and arborist, Thomas Pakenham (b.1933)is a founder member of The Irish Tree Society. He has written several award winning books on the diverse subjects of Victorian and post-Victorian British History and Trees. He lives at Tullynally Castle, Co. Westmeath.
