'It was as if the magazine in my hands had become a mirror.'

After a sell-out run at the Abbey Theatre and an international tour to New York, Maeve’s House is back. This delightful one man show is written by and stars Eamon Morrissey, one of Ireland’s best loved actors.

Maeve Brennan was one of our greatest short story writers. Although she lived in New York, many of her finest stories are set in 48 Cherryfield Avenue, Ranelagh, Dublin where she grew up. By coincidence Eamon Morrissey was brought up in the same house.

This beautiful poignant story features extracts from Maeve Brennan’s writing and presents a moving portrait of two artists in conversation across generations.
