Artist, Chris Wilson is probably best known to the people of Omagh and district for his design of Treelines, the metallic tree-like sculpture which stands outside the Strule Arts Centre in Omagh. This elegant sculpture celebrates the distinctive characteristics of Omagh’s local landscape - its roads, rivers, townlands and many silver birch trees. The sculpture has been the inspiration for the now familiar arts centre logo and website branding. So it is fitting this Strule has invited Chris to exhibit a retrospective of his works, Landmarks, in the gallery in the months of April and May.
