This autumn, 12th - 14th September, the second Kennedy Summer School will take place in New Ross, Wexford. This year’s Kennedy Summer School boasts 13 events and more than 23 speakers, culminating in a festival of Irish-American history, culture and politics that’s not to be missed.
Some of the highlights will include; the Irish premiere of five time Emmy nominated documentary, Ethel, a special address from Ted Kennedy junior, a panel discussion on reforming Irish politics and an audio visual presentation on the Kennedy Space and Science Legacy. Guest speakers will include; Rory Kennedy, George Hook, Michael Martin TD, Mary O’Rourke, Minister Katherine Zappone and many more. The schedule of events has something for everyone, from political enthusiasts, to space fanatics, to film addicts.
