The weekend is nearly here!
If you're anything like us here at entertainment.ie, you've already got that Friday feeling coursing through your body right now reading this. Hold on, you're nearly there!
But - what's new for you to do this weekend, you ask? Well, luckily for you, we've teamed up with Burger King to ensure you have a whopper of a weekend with five fresh picks to keep you busy for the next few days.
So, whether you're in the mood for a chilled one, a night on the town or an escape to the cinema, we've listed five big things that should be on your radar.
Dylan Moran| Vicar Street
If you fancy a laugh this weekend then get down to Vicar Street. Moran is one of Ireland's best comedic exports of the last few decades and his live shows are always top notch.
We Got This is the brand new show from BAFTA and Perrier award winning comedian. It promises to be a joyously furious romp through the frustration and folly of modern day life.
Tickets for this weekend may be hard to come by but always worth having a look for resale tickets on Ticketmaster.
Welcome To Night Vale: The Haunting Of Night Vale| Liberty Hall Theatre
If you're a fan of the offbeat, Twin Peaks-esque podcast 'Welcome To Night Vale', then this is definitely not one to miss. If you haven't listened but are very much into the weird, unusual and uncanny then maybe their upcoming live show this weekend will be the perfect introduction.
Cecil and Carlos are building a new house for themselves, but strange occurrences and ghostly encounters are plaguing the construction process. It's probably nothing. After all, how could a house be haunted before it's even done being built?
This story will never be told on the podcast, plus, their live shows bring the audience into the story in surprising and thrilling ways. It's a unique experience that you can't get from listening to the podcast at home! This live show is entirely stand-alone, so bring a friend and introduce them to the town of Night Vale, too.
