Here's all the details of the acoustic session

Kickstart your Bank Holiday with a free ham sandwich (gig!).

Looking for something to start off your October Bank Holiday weekend in great fashion? We're sure a lunchtime gig this Friday will do just the trick (or treat), with Irish indie-rockers HamsandwicH headlining a very special acoustic session.

Taking place in the Rua Red Theatre in Tallaght this Friday, October 28 from 1pm, expect the three-piece to make it a lunchtime to remember as they showcase some tracks from the recently released fourth studio album 'Magnify'.

And sure they might play some of their biggest hits like 'Ants' and 'Illuminate' while they're at it.

Niamh Farrell, Darcy and Podge McNamee of HamsandwicH will also be joined by Anamoe Drive, the solo venture of Oisín Leahy Furlong, who is the frontman of Dublin psych-pop band Thumper.

Tickets for the free HamsandwicH gig can be reserved from Eventbrite right now.

The band's new album 'Magnify' was released on September 30 and over the past month the band has been busy on a run of album launch shows around the country. Reflecting on their latest body of work, lead singer Niamh said: "We’re a band who have constantly evolved over the years and this is our biggest evolution yet."

In case you miss this Friday's special event, HamsandwicH will be heading to Limerick, Cork and Dublin in November and December. Tickets for these events can be found on Ticketmaster.
