A non-stop afternoon of entertainment and festival fun awaits; The Guinness World Oyster Opener Championship, The Food Village, live music with Spring Break 80s, Sean de Burca, Trad on the Prom and guests as well as a few celebrity suprises.
Ticket holders choose their favourite dishes from a selection of local restaurants including Artisan Restaurant, Cava Spanish Tapas Restaurant, RAW Sushi Restaurant and WEST from The Twelve Hotel and you will also receive a half dozen oysters with a complimentary beverage-a glass of wine or a pint/bottle of beer included in your ticket. Additional dishes may be purchased from the restaurants directly.
The Guinness World Oyster Opening Championship features contestants from every continent competing for the world title and valuable prizes. All are internationally recognised experts who have proven speed accomplishments as they compete for the coveted title currently held by Xavier Caille, our 2011 winner.
