A modern superstar DJ, Swedish native Eric Prydz has spent the last 10 years conquering dance floors across the world, and producing some of the biggest dance hits of recent times. One of electronic music's most multi-faceted personalities, he produces and performs under a huge range of monikers, including Pryda, Cirez D, Sheridan, Axer and many more, releasing tracks primarily on his own imprints (Mouseville, Pryda, Pryda Friends). However it is under the name Eric Prydz which he's created his signatures tunes, club and chart smashes like 'Call on Me' and 'Proper Education'. After becoming the only artist ever to be given the go ahead to sample Pink Floyd, Prydz release the huge "Proper Education". Remixing Floyd's "Another Brick In The Wall" he reached number two in the charts, and was subsequently nominated for a Grammy. Since his arrival, Eric Prydz has unassumingly broken into uncharted territory for dance music. Previously seen as an impossible target, the man famous for his phobia of flying has managed to fuse huge commercial success with huge underground credibility. Prydz makes his Belfast debut at The Stiff Kitten on Easter Monday, April 5th, on a huge bill featuring house superstar Nic Fanciulli, Circus resident DJ / Promoter Yousef and Shine / Stiff Kitten residents Psycatron.
