The Cork Jazz Festival is rolling into the rebel city between the 23rd and 26th of October. This festival has been taking place annually since 1978 and has previously featured such musical luminaries as Ella Fitzgerald, Dizzy Gillespie, Buddy Rich, Dave Brubeck and John McLaughlin. The Festival is Ireland's biggest jazz event and attracts hundreds of musicians and thousands of music fans to the city each year. This year's festival is set to feature Fun Lovin' Criminals, Imelda May, Monty Alexander Trio, The Bad Plus, Yolanda Brown and Yurodny.
