The Brideswell Pattern Festival 2013 will celebrate community spirit with five days of music, theatre, dance and family fun.
One of the main events is the Traditional Night on Saturday in the festival marquee. Why not book a table for you and your family, where you can eat a traditional dish and enjoy some old style entertainment novelty acts including the Straw Boys and singing and dancing by local groups.
Other events include a fáilte (welcome) céilí on Friday, history tours, an old style fair day, an obstacle race and Mike Denver on stage Saturday. On Sunday there is the annual pattern mass and a family fun day, followed by the internationally acclaimed local man Brendan Shine to entertain with song and dance.
