Belsonic is a series of one-day, large scale out-door events to be held at Custom House Square in Belfast, delivering all the atmosphere and energy of a music festival but in the most convenient of urban settings and presenting a unique opportunity for a Northern Irish audience to see some of music's most respected and creative artists in this beautiful location. Each day's lineup will contribute to a varied programme encompassing a wealth of huge international names, side by side with some of the most promising emerging talent. The organisers are promising thoughtful and high quality onsite services to match the musical ambition. Already confirmed to appear at over the course of the three days are The Flaming Lips, The Enemy, The Zutons, Mogwai, Jape, The Go! Team, The Mystery Jets and many more. Set in the vibrant, and historical Cathedral Quarter area, the Belsonic site is overlooked by a number of city landmarks including the historic Albert Clock and Custom House Building, set side by side with the newly emerging skyline of the regenerating Belfast. Belsonic is running from 11th to 15th of August and a three day ticket will set you back £75, but one day tickets are available too.
