Sorry Florence, the dog days are not over. They're right here and they're staying. What would the internet be if it weren't for all the fantastic canines out there? Here's your morning dose of puppy love to get you through the day.

First up we have Bandit, the pitbull pup determined to get on the treadmill like the grownups.

Then there's this 37 seconds of pure joy. An example of why dogs are the best companions in the world.

And finally we have a short film by Zachary Quinto based on his real life struggle to adopt his first dog, and is a  'is a twisted, fun, morality tale about the lengths to which some of us will go in order to get what we want.' It's also very endearing, and hello, puppies!
