Where was The X Factor when this guy was a youngster?
A video clip of a 74-year-old singer belting out an emotional version of Sam Cooke's 'A Change is Gonna Come' in a New York City subway has gone viral, and with good reason.
You get the impression that this New Yorker - whose name is Danny Small, aka Geechee Dan or 'The Singing Dragon' - could have turned out very differently if only his talent had been spotted earlier in life. He is well known amongst commuting New Yorkers and has even been profiled in the NY Times, but remains one of the city's best-kept secrets.
Maybe there's still time, however… someone sign this guy, stat.
