When they cast him as 'The Mountain' in Game of Thrones, they really knew what they were doing.

Hafthór "The Mountain" Björnsson broke a 1,000 year old Icelandic record during the World's Strongest Viking contest in Norway, carrying the 650kg mast of the viking ship Ormen Lange on his own shoulders five steps, the first man in living history to do so.

According to the Sydney Morning Herald, "Legend has it, it took 50 "mere mortals" to place the 10 metre-long log on Storlfsson's back. Storlfsson managed to carry the log three steps before his back was crushed under the weight". Bjornsson made it five before stopping, and then went on to celebrate like only one of the strongest men in the world could.
