It's not often that Roger Federer makes this kind of mistake, but at least someone was there to capitalize on it.

Federer, who went out to Andreas Seppi in today's third round match, shanked a ball that went high into the crowd gathered at Center Court in Melbourne and one eagle-eyed and very well coordinated spectator managed to snag the ball in a catch that's usually reserved for the baseball diamond.

We're just surprised he gave it back.
