Earlier this year we were introduced to Sister Cristina, the singing nun from The Voice of Italy who went on to win the competition after achieving fame both in her own country and around the world thanks to the internet. And now she has released her first single, and the choice could not be more hilariously eyebrow-lifting.

This is more Sam Smith than Madonna rolling around on a bed simulating masturbation, but the fact that a genuine nun is releasing a cover of 'Like A Virgin' is still pretty mindblowing. We were expecting something a little more Do-Re-Mi.
