We're used to Lady Gaga being weird (she's pretty much the queen of it to be honest), but this is just a whole new level of odd.
Gaga appears in the NSFW video below demonstrating 'The Abramovic Method', which she was taught by artist Marina Abramovic (who inspired and featured in Jay Z's seven hour long performance of Picasso Baby) and is described as 'a series of exercises designed to heighten participants' awareness of their physical and mental experience in the present moment'. It seems to basically be about getting naked in nature and making donkey impressions and lying around with crystals.
Abramovic is hoping to build the 'Marina Abramovic Institute' where participants can 'both perform and observe long durational work' and seems to have roped Gaga into advertising the fundraising campaign. It's all very Emperor's New Clothes to us.
