Two weeks ago, China unveiled one of the longest suspended glass bridges in the world. It stretches across a canyon in Yuntaishan Park. Since the opening, we've been treated to  footage of tourists gingerly making their way across the 260 metre structure - some crawled, some slithered, some did it with their eyes closed, and most of them took selfies (obvs) 3,500 feet above sea level.

Well, now, its after shattering... Personally, I wouldn't be petting the glass, I'd be haulin' hoop out of there.

As for why it shattered - apparently one of the tourists dropped a stainless steel mug causing the glass to crack. As it would.
