Some very inventive ways to claim phone insurance
If you've ever been unfortunate enough to drop your precious iPhone or other cherished device in a pint or cup of tea, know that while you may feel stupid temporarily, you're nowhere near as bad as these people. MobileInsurance.co.uk have released some of their more bizarre and idiotic insurance claims that people have sent in, ranging from the farmer who lost his iPhone up inside a cow "using the torch app during calving"'or the woman who baked her Nokia into her daughter's birthday cake. (To be fair, you have to be fairly out of it to be using a Nokia these days). Our favourite though is the couple who dropped their phone into the sea while re-enacting the Titanic "I'm flying Jack!" scene while on a cruise ship. That one we're all guilty of wanting to do.
Bonus claim presented without commentary: The woman who wanted a new BlackBerry after having broken the vibrate function on her old one. You get two guesses how.
