So Quidditch is real and they just had their World Cup
When Harry Potter mania was at its highest, fans started doing all sorts of mad stuff like dressing up and having conventions and making real life Quidditch. Which was cute and odd and you'd think it would have died off but the opposite has happened and now there's already been six Quidditch World Cups. Madness. The International Quidditch Association World Cup VI took place in Kissimmee, Florida this month and Texas University were crowned kings and queens after 80 teams took part in the tournament. But how does it all work? Check out the video below. We have to admit, the idea for the snitch is quite brilliant, but they do take it very seriously which is slightly disconcerting. Also, where was our invitation? Everyone knows we'd kick ass at this.
