Slow loris is super cute and super deadly
It looks super cute, but don't get too close because this little creature has a whole lot of nasty stuff going on. Making up for having zero bark, this newly discovered breed of slow loris, the ridiculously adorable big eyed primate, is the only one with a toxic bite. Only just discovered because it's nocturnal, this particular species releases the poison from behind its elbows, which it then puts into its mouth before laying the killer bite down on targets. The mini-Ewok lookalikes, who shot to fame after a series of videos like the one below, brew a poison so strong that it causes humans to go into anaphylactic shock. So one of those extreme book/cover situations then.
