Lance Armstorng's books to be moved to 'Fiction' section

Manly Library, Sydney, we salute you. Not only are you a repository of the good and leafy materials, but you also have a whopper sense of comic timing.

The above sign popped up in the library last week, and went all around the world in record time. The sign, announcing that all Lance Armstrong's non-fiction books were to be moved to the fiction section of the library, is a perfectly timed sting at the now disgraced former Tour de France champ, who has basically asked for the jokes to be made about him with his decision to confess to none other than Oprah on American TV in order to seek penance or something. As if we're going to forget the doping scandal of the 21st century after a bit of grovelling. Oh wait.

Below, Armstrong and HRH of TV Oprah Winfrey, and his 'confession'.

I suppose there is an argument to move the books to the fiction section but it comes across so b**chy and playground. Armstrong is hardly the only one to have a biography full of fiction, or indeed the only celebrated person to cheat to get to the top now is he?
