J.K. Rowling has a Potter potty mouth
Someone's gone and gotten all Fifty Shades of Grey on us. The good people over at Gawker got their mitts on the billionaire authors first book post-Potter, and while a review is pending, they did get down to the nitty gritty and crunch the numbers on how filthy it is. How filthy, you say? 214 appearances of 'f*ck' filthy. So it's not so much Hogwarts as it is Snogwarts, which appears a meager four times, where as 'sh*t' and 'c*nt' appear 43 and eight times respectively. We imagine that after 7 novels and years of writing for children and keeping everything PC, Ms. Rowling had a lot she needed to get out of her system and The Casual Vacancy seems to have given her all the venting she needed.
