HMV UK Twitter taken over by staff getting fired
Staff in the UK branch of HMV have revolted against the company firing them, taking control of the music stores official Twitter account and tweeting their firing live. They also got the hashtag #hmvXFactorFiring trending worldwide, sticking it to the management who they say have 'ruined' the company. Can't help but side with on this one now can we? Especially when the Marketing Manager for the company has to ask 'How do I shut down Twitter?'. Well he may have unwittingly done so, because as of right now ALL of Twitter is down. We don't know for sure if it's #hmvXFactorFiring, but we like to think it is.

Update: As of 15:45, Twitter is back and@HMVTweets have deleted the tweets in question. Boo.
