According to Senator Ned O'Sullivan, 'vermin' seagulls have 'lost the run of themselves' and has demanded the Seanad take action against them. Yes, this is actually happening and you aren't reading a long-lost Monty Python sketch.
'They are getting so cheeky now they are attacking young children and dispossessing them of their lollipops and stuff like that... They're not seagulls, they're scavenger gulls, dump gulls...' O'Sullivan told the Seanad this morning, urging the Minister for the Environment Alan Kelly to do something about it.
