Now I like a bagel as much as the next person; I just had one for lunch actually. A lovely poppy seed BLT bagel. Scarfed it in about one minute. However, as tasty as they are, I'm not such a fan that I'd want my head to look like one. Bear with me here. This is the latest trend sweeping Japan where young men and women are having their foreheads injected with a saline fluid that when pressed in the centre, takes the shape of a bagel ring under their skin. *passthebucket*. Apparently, it's all the rage.

As per The Sun, the process takes two hours to complete, but lasts just 16-24 hours, after which the saline is absorbed by the body and the forehead skinks to its normal size. Whilst visiting a Toyko clinic, a reporter brought back the news, explaining how much the Japanese undergoing the treatment were enjoying it. "It's a relaxing sensation," said one person. "It's kind of tingly and a building pressure that feels like it's sending me to sleep."While another, upon seeing his new 'bagel head' smiled and said: "Oh sweet buttery bagels, I'm impressed... I look delicious." Yes but you're a human, not a snack.

What's more, these saline injections can be done on any part of the body. So maybe you don't want a bagel head. Maybe, you'd rather a bagel scrotum? So for that you'd be asking for a 'scrotal infusion.'

Whaddaya reckon, will the trend catch on here?
