We're all aware that politicians frequently stretch to the truth for their own advantage, whether it's a light massaging on a particular issue or a flat-out denial of something or other.

Simon Parkes, a former town councillor in Yorkshire, England, says that he stopped the Illuminati from opening a portal with the Large Hadron Collider to utilise power from another dimension to control world affairs and nature.

Let's take a minute and let that sentence sink in. Parkes went on and explained his plan in greater detail. As he believed, the Illuminati were planning to sever the link between humans and 'divine consciousness' on August 15th of this year.

"We couldn’t just do nothing. There is much you could do without sticking your head above the parapet. I created a global meditation group connecting consciousness and most countries now have two or three people. Places like the US and UK have got hundreds. We really can affect matters with our mind."

Ah-huh. Sure. Got it.

According to Parkes, he and his band of psychic warriors managed to send a wave of positive energy that closed the portal. It gets better. His contacts at CERN told him that the Large Hadron Collider was switched off around 3AM, which prevented the portal being opened at that time.

"All over the globe good people started to meditate for five to six minutes, after the meditation it failed again, but we did take some damage. One person lost hearing in an ear for three weeks and others had ringing in ears because there was an attack by those psychically protecting it."

This isn't the first time Parkes has made a bizarre claim. In 2013, the ex-politician said that he was part alien and claimed that he lost his virginity through a holographic sexual encounter.
